One of our core team values is Relationships. Specifically, we value others by prioritizing relationships and putting people first. As we strive to create personal relationships with our clients and our colleagues, we are excited to share this new monthly team spotlight with you.
This month, we are featuring our newest CFP®, Gretchen Duda. Gretchen has been with us as our client relationship manager for over 5 years. She has her MBA and JUST passed the CFP® exam this spring.
Position: Client Relationship Manager
Specialty: My undergrad study was in elementary education, and I was a teacher for 5 years before I got into finance. That perspective translates well to educating our clients on their retirement plans, products, and concepts.
What do people say about you?
That I can make them laugh.
What TV series are you currently watching?
My husband and I are working through Modern Family and really enjoying it. It’s a great show and so funny!
When you are not at work, you are?
Snuggling with our dogs, drinking wine with friends, working on our house, or galivanting around with my husband.
What is your motto?
“It’s gonna be great!” I feel like a lot of people don’t take this one seriously, but I honestly believe that everything works out the way it is supposed to and even if it’s a hard thing, we can find sparks of joy and light in those moments.
What do you like most about working at Advent Partners?
The people. Our clients are genuine, thoughtful, and want to do good for the people in their lives and communities. Working on plans with clients who have similar values and goals is refreshing. Also, the Advent Team is made up of some of the best people I’ve ever worked with. We have shared values and work for the betterment of our clients and each other.
